Brrr! Happy Winter, babes! Although the temperature has decreased, your fashion sense doesn’t have to. Buckle up, winter weather means blog posts full of chunky knits and cozy tips. In this post you will find the perfect outfit for these transitional weeks from fall to winter. Grab a mocha and enjoy!
The key to every winter look is a comfy sweater. Stay warm while still feeling like a fashionista. My heather gray cable knit is thrifted (stay tuned for more posts on thrifting) from the brand ELLE. You can find knits similar to this from stores like Nordstrom. My favorite part about this sweater is the unique neckline. The slight off the shoulder detailing takes the top from chunky to chic when paired with anything! When shopping for your own winter tops, be sure to focus on details like length and neckline to find what is most flattering on you.
Accessories are everything! I decided to spice up my look with a silver, layered choker from American Eagle Outfitters. If your outfit is ever feeling bland, a fun choker is the perfect remedy. What’s your favorite accessory? I’d love to know in the comments below!
Speaking of accessories, I’m in love with my black, faux leather backpack from Target. It’s just big enough to hold the necessities and adds an edgy flair to any look. I usually opt for a cute backpack over a purse because they are practical and unique!
Can’t forget the feet! My black, Sam Edelman booties are not only cute but they’re durable and weather resistant too. When the snow starts to fall you will still find me rocking these! I paired them with scrunched, maroon high socks from American Eagle for a pop of color against my black pants.
This winter look was perfect for Sunday brunch in the city! Stay tuned for more fashion, beauty & lifestyle posts like this one. I Hope you enjoyed!
